...to all who land upon this page.
I'm the author of several books, both fiction and nonfiction, as detailed on this site's pages.
I've always enjoyed writing fiction but broke into publishing when I tried my hand at nonfiction with Chicago's Most Wanted. That project led me to discover a love for researching and trying to puzzle out a way to tell an interesting tale about a subject.
Of course, the world-building of fiction can be just as exciting as the author discovers the histories and motives of characters readers have yet to meet.
I hope my readers find all my books as enjoyable to read as I find them to write.

I was born in Chicago, IL, and grew up on the sun-kissed shores of neighboring Harwood Heights.
From an early age, I wanted to tell stories. Huge, magnificent stories of great consequence that, admittedly, I have yet to write. The smaller tales I have conquered, however, have also been a thrill to write.
I wrote my first book at age 12, penning the story of a woman who found a collie on a beach. It was even illustrated by the author who then stapled the pages together in my own particular brand of self-publishing. It was the only copy but by then the writing bug hadn't just bitten me, it had devoured me, and I yearned to write more.
It took more time than I would have liked but at last, I found a publisher interested in my work. I suggested Chicago as a topic for Potomac Publishers' "Most Wanted" signature series and they agreed.
My first published book, Chicago's Most Wanted: The Top Ten Book of Murderous Mobsters, Midway Monsters, and Windy City Oddities was published in 2005 by Potomac. I followed this up in 2011 with Vampire's Most Wanted: The Top Ten Book of Bloodthirsty Biters, Stake-wielding Slayers, and Other Undead Oddities also published by Potomac Publishers.
To Touch the Sun, the first book in my Chicago Vampire Series was released in February 2014 by Dagda Publishing. Ujaali, book two was released in October 2015.
Most recently, I've had the privilege of having two books published in three months. In October 2024, Correllian Publishing released my dragon fantasy novel Court of the Five Tribes. In January of 2025, BearManor Media released my nonfiction book The Meet the Parents Story: The True and Terrible Tale of How a Little Independent Film Spawned a Billion-Dollar Franchise.
Quite a mouth full on that second title, but I'm excited about both. Now the real work begins. Marketing. All my books are available on Amazon.
In the meantime, I hope to restart the Chicago Vampire Series because those books have always been particularly close to my heart, and I have many more tales to tell.
Keep an eye on the site. You never know what my next story will be.
